Shrink sleeve labels
The heat-shrunk film takes on the exact shape of your pack, turning every centimetre of the bottle into print space for your brand.

What is a shrink sleeve label?
A shrink sleeve is a tubular plastic film that is slipped over the container and shrunk in a heat tunnel until it takes on the shape of the product. Because the design is printed on the inside of the film, it is protected from scratches and moisture, giving bottles, jars, boxes and shaped containers a seamless 360-degree surface.
Where is it used?
It is chosen wherever shelf impact matters: food and beverages, personal care, cleaning products and chemicals. On cosmetic and health products the whole pack can carry the brand message, usage information and design.
- Beverages and food: PET bottles, glass bottles, jars
- Cosmetics: shampoo, cream and fragrance packs
- Cleaning and chemicals: detergent and spray bottles
- Promotions: multipacks and campaign packaging
Technical specifications
The film is selected for the shape of the product and your filling line. High-shrink films fit contoured and tapered packs perfectly; thinner films offer light, economical solutions.
- Material: PET-G, PVC, OPS
- Thickness: chosen for the shape of the pack and your line
- Print: multi-colour to your design, matt or gloss varnish
- Delivery: on rolls wound to suit your line
Advantages of shrink sleeve labels
One sleeve replaces separate front and back labels. Full coverage makes the product stand out on the shelf, and the durable surface keeps its look through transport and refrigeration. It can also be produced as a single film combined with a tamper-evident neck band.
FAQ
Frequently asked.
Is there anything else you would like to know? Write to our sales team or call us and we will get back to you.
Which containers are shrink sleeves suitable for?
Almost any straight or contoured pack, including glass and PET bottles, jars, boxes and shaped containers. We choose the film type with you based on the shape, so once the size and form are clear we can recommend the right option.
Is there a minimum order quantity for shrink sleeve labels?
No, we have no minimum order restriction, and we also produce small runs. The unit cost usually falls as quantities grow. Exact figures depend on size, film and print, and are confirmed when we prepare your quote.
Can I get a quote without a design file?
Yes. The pack dimensions and an approximate quantity are enough for a quote. We can also provide custom design support if you need it, and once the artwork is ready you receive a proof for approval before printing.
What is a shrink sleeve label?
A shrink sleeve is a printed plastic film formed into a tube. It is slipped over the product and shrinks with heat to take the shape of the pack. Because it wraps the whole container, it offers a full 360-degree print area and fits contoured shapes.
What films are shrink sleeve labels made from?
The films most commonly used in the industry are PETG, PVC, OPS and low-shrink polyethylene-based types. The right choice depends on the container shape, the shrink ratio needed and recycling expectations. We make that choice with you when you place the order.
How is a shrink sleeve label applied to a product?
The sleeve is placed over the product, which then passes through a heat tunnel. Steam, hot air or infrared heat shrinks the film until it sits tightly on the pack. Application can be manual or automatic, so the film should match your line.
What is the difference between a shrink sleeve and a pressure-sensitive label?
A pressure-sensitive label is stuck onto one area of the pack. A shrink sleeve wraps the entire product, opens the whole surface to print and needs no adhesive. For contoured bottles and eye-catching designs, a sleeve is often the better choice.
What is the most common mistake when ordering shrink sleeves?
Giving the wrong container size or widest diameter, and preparing artwork without allowing for shrinkage. Graphics can shift when the film shrinks. That is why we take measurements from the actual product and check with a proof and, if needed, a sample.
