Food industry
A guarantee of freshness and trust: labels that carry legal information clearly and stay legible even in cold, humid conditions.

What matters on a food label?
On food products the label carries the ingredients list, nutrition values, allergen warnings and best-before date. Accurate, clear information is both a legal requirement and the basis of consumer trust.
- Legal requirements: ingredients, nutrition and dates
- Consumer awareness: organic and natural claims
- Brand image: an attractive look that builds trust on the shelf
The right material for food products
Products kept in the fridge or freezer need cold-resistant adhesives; oily and humid products need PP or smudge-proof labels. Glass jars, PET bottles and cartons each need a different adhesive, which we choose for your product.
Hygiene and safety
A cap seal band shows first opening and protects the cap from outside contact. Shrink sleeves provide both information and promotion space on multipacks and campaign products.
FAQ
Frequently asked.
Is there anything else you would like to know? Write to our sales team or call us and we will get back to you.
Do labels fall off frozen products?
Not when the right adhesive is chosen. We make labels with special adhesives for deep-freeze conditions. Knowing your packaging material and storage conditions is enough for us to pick the correct adhesive.
Can a food label carry a barcode and batch number?
Yes. Fixed information is printed, and a blank area can be left for variable details such as dates and batch numbers. Those are added later on the packing line, and blank labels also suit this job.
Which label do you recommend for glass jars?
For damp environments we recommend a PP label or a full-wrap sleeve label. For jams, pickles and sauces we choose the adhesive together with you, based on how the product is stored.
What information must a food label include?
In general, ingredients, nutrition values, allergen warnings and a use-by or expiry date. The scope depends on the product and the regulations, and the accuracy of the content is the responsibility of the producer. We print what you provide clearly.
What happens to labels on oily foods?
For olive oil, sauces and other oily products we use PP film or labels with a smudge-proof surface, which keep the text intact under oil and moisture. A plain paper label may soak up oil and darken.
What does a tamper-evident band do on food packaging?
A cap seal band shows that the product has not been opened and protects the cap from outside contact. It is common on dairy, drinks and jars where hygiene and trust matter.
Are shrink sleeve labels a good choice for beverage bottles?
Yes. A shrink sleeve wraps the bottle 360 degrees and gives plenty of room for information and promotion. It also works well on multi-packs and campaign products. We check the bottle shape and material for fit.
Can a small food producer order labels from you?
Yes. We have no minimum order requirement and we prepare designs to suit your business. Share your packaging type and approximate quantity, and we will reply with a material recommendation and a price.
